At the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, guests will find contemporary rooms, a busy casino, party-like dining experiences, a knightly show and more, all housed in a gigantic castle. Save with Excalibur Hotel Deals.

Set majestically between the skyline of New York-New York and the Egyptian pyramid of Luxor at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard on the Strip, guests at the Excalibur can discover much more than knights and armor in this hotel.

The show “Tournament of Kings” is an inexpensive option for food and entertainment. It includes a three-course meal that you eat with your fingers. You’ll also love cheering for the knights on horseback while pounding on the table and waving your fists.

The Buffet at Excalibur Hotel and Casino has been retooled. It’s not only brighter and more modern, but the food is good too, especially for the price.

Rounding out the kingdom is the pool area. This includes the Drenched pool café, a separate adults-only pool with cabanas, a fire pit and sun decks perfect for the king and queen of the castle. There is also a family pool with a thrilling water slide.

For those looking for easy access to other hotels, an indoor walkway connects the Excalibur to the Luxor. There is also a pedestrian bridge from the Excalibur to the New York-New York and the Tropicana. Finally, there is a free tram that goes from the Excalibur to the Luxor and then to Mandalay Bay. Excalibur is a great place

The bridge walk ways are great for moving around. Excalibur is very well keep, and the staff are very helpful. Really the only down fall was getting morning coffee, No fridges or coffee makers in the rooms.

    Great getaway

Great place to just get away. We started our visit with the Tournament of Kings Dinner. Awesome show. We decided to upgrade our room last minute, hoping for a small fridge. We where told it had just had a recent reno done. No luck and the room was really no different than any other room. Not worth the money. The people were great, the atmosphere was good. I would stay here again. Just no upgrade.

    Great stay

This was the perfect hotel for our stay. Check-In was great, they even let us check-in early. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh and the beds were comfortable. The shower was great! We are very picky and were very pleased!

  4. 3 out of 5

    Value hotel

If your just looking for a room on the strip, then this is your place. Good value for that, if your looking for amenities and luxury thinking it’s Vegas, this is NOT your place. Casino smelled of cigarette smoke and musty air. Renovations are desperately needed if the Excalibur is to even attempt to keep up with the rest of the hotels on the strip.

    Average hotel

An average hotel and casino. Slots seemed abnormally stiff. But that’s gambling and I’m not sure if it’s the casinos fault.
Each casino has its own scent. This one wasn’t so pleasant. And sticks to your belongings when you’re back home. But again, that may just be my opinion. Other casinos smelled better I thought.
It was a laid back crowd, which is what I was going for. Nothing too fancy. And was a close and convenient walk to Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Which had a more enjoyable atmosphere.
We went midweek in the winter (February) and it was nice and calm without any major crowds. When Thursday rolled around, it became noticeably full of people getting ready for the weekend and in the pm was hard to navigate through the crowds. Just a side thought.
Overall a decent hotel and casino. You get what you pay for. I’d stay here again if I rented a car to easily get away from it but return to sleep for cheap.
