Reba, Brooks & Dunn Announce 2019 Return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Country music icons Reba McEntire, Kix Brooks, and Ronnie Dunn have announced they will return for more shows in 2019. The new dates for “REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas” ignite excitement for a fourth year of the longest-running country residency in Las Vegas with six additional shows June 26 through July 6. The residency is a culmination of the friendship and musical admiration the trio has shared since first touring together in 1993 and features more than 30 action-packed hits backed by a band of 10 players from both of their touring crews. The set includes solo and joint performances of their signature tracks including “Fancy,” “My Maria” and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,” as well as many surprises.
LADY GAGA ENIGMA Headlines Grand Opening of New Las Vegas Resort, Park MGM
Park MGM, Las Vegas’ newest resort, recently celebrated its official grand opening with the debut of Lady Gaga’s residency, the introduction of Las Vegas’ first Eataly and the launch of On The Record, a new speakeasy and club. The debuts of Lada Gaga, On The Record and Eataly mark the final stage of the two-year, $550 million development at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Park MGM and NoMad Las Vegas offer an intimate luxury resort experience on a grand scale. A partnership between MGM Resorts International and New York-based Sydell Group, Park MGM features 2,700 guest rooms and suites; and the Las Vegas extension of Sydell’s NoMad features 293 well-appointed guest rooms and suites. The resort’s culinary program features NoMad Restaurant and NoMad Bar from Will Guidara and Daniel Humm; L.A. legend Roy Choi’s Korean BBQ concept, Best Friend; Hogsalt Hospitality’s renowned Bavette’s Steakhouse; and the vibrant Italian marketplace, Eataly, among other original dining and cocktail experiences. Park MGM and NoMad Las Vegas are located in the heart of The Strip, next to the entertainment and dining neighborhood created by The Park and the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena.
New International Production Celestia Coming to the Stratosphere
Celestia, an all-new, international production written and directed by Sasha Ivanov, the founder of the live entertainment company Intrigue Shows, will make its debut at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019. This tour de force of acrobatics, technology, artistry and illusion will perform eight shows a week in a unique 200,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art tent located right on the Las Vegas Strip. Presenting an otherworldly story of love and sacrifice through elite acrobatics and dance, aerial feats, live music, state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated illusion, Celestia brings together a talented troupe of 32 multicultural performers to create an eye-popping, immersive experience. From mind-blowing contortion and the Wheel of Death act, to real-time motion capture and projection mapping, Celestia’s world-class performers create a dazzling spectacle unlike any other. Suitable for audiences of all ages, the 90-minute show is perfect for both Las Vegas locals and those visiting from around the world.
Tim Burton Art Exhibition Coming to Neon Museum
For the first time in nearly a decade, renowned American film director, producer, artist, writer and animator Tim Burton will stage an exhibition of his original fine art in the United States. Installed at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, “Tim Burton @ the Neon Museum” will be staged at multiple locations: the museum’s outdoor Boneyard exhibition space, in its North Gallery and at the City of Las Vegas’ Boneyard Park across from the museum’s visitor’s center. The exhibition will comprise a combination of new work as well as previously exhibited pieces and will be on view from October 15, 2019, through February 15, 2020. Created to take advantage of the museum’s unique open-air exhibition spaces, the large-scale installation works will be integrated with the museum’s collection. Burton intends for the exhibition to serve as a retrospective of his own creative history, as well as a celebration of his affection for the Neon Museum. Conceived as a collaboration with the museum, it will be genuinely site-specific and unlike any other exhibition Burton has ever staged.
Favorite Bistro Brings French-Kissed Fare to The LINQ Promenade
Introducing French fare with an American flair, Favorite Bistro recently opened its doors and patio at The LINQ Promenade on the Las Vegas Strip. The first U.S. location from pedigreed restaurateurs Thierry Bourdoncle and Ariane de Senneville of Group Bourdoncle, Favorite Bistro looks to liberate the presumed French dining experience from white tablecloths and replace it with lively ambiance and cuisine imported from their famed locations found in France’s favorite cities. The third-generation bistro owners and operators are behind the legendary Parisian cafés Le Hibou, Cafe Le Dome de Villiers, Le Café Mabillon and the iconic Senequier in Saint Tropez on the French Riviera.
‘Mo’Nique Does Vegas’ coming to The Sayers Club at SLS Las Vegas
Academy Award-winning actress and comedian Mo’Nique will take the stage at SLS Las Vegas® for her first-ever Strip residency beginning Friday, Jan. 11. “Mo’Nique Does Vegas” will perform Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with additional 11 p.m. shows Fridays and Saturdays, inside The Sayers Club® through Thursday, Feb. 28.
Singer-Songwriter Sarah McLachlan Set to Make Wynn Las Vegas Debut
For the first time, Encore Theater welcomes celebrated singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan to the stage for a three-night engagement at Wynn Las Vegas in April 2019. Marking her return to the Las Vegas Strip after more than eight years, McLachlan will perform fan favorites such as “Angel,” “I Will Remember You,” and “Building A Mystery” in an intimate evening with format, accompanied by cellist Vanessa Freebairn-Smith.

Earth, Wind & Fire will return to The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas
Due to popular demand following six sold-out shows in 2018, legendary music group Earth, Wind & Fire will return to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas for a six-show limited engagement in 2019. The show will be held on March 20, 22, 23, 27, 29 and 30 at 8 p.m.
Flamingo Las Vegas Unveils One of the Largest Bunk Bed Suites in the US
Offering innovative experiences for group travel in the heart of the Strip, the iconic Flamingo Las Vegas debuts 14 new Bunk Bed Rooms, along with one of the largest dedicated Bunk Bed Suites in the U.S., as part of the second phase of the resort’s room renovation, totaling a $156 million investment to date. Expected to welcome their first guests on Feb. 1, 2019, the Bunk Bed Rooms are available now for online booking, and the Bunk Bed Suites are available for call-in booking. The current phase of the 976-room renovation follows the recent completion of the resort’s first 1,270 rooms and suites in April with an initial $90 million investment. Two-thirds of the room product at Flamingo Las Vegas will be new or will have been remodeled in the past two years.
On The Record at Park MGM Reveals Bartender Residencies
On The Record, Houston Hospitality’s recently opened speakeasy and club at Park MGM in Las Vegas has assembled a team of the country’s top bartenders from both coasts to guest bartend in the venue’s intimate cocktail and music-driven Vinyl Parlor. Bartenders-in-residency will include Jillian Vose (Dead Rabbit, Manhattan), Alex Day and David Kaplan (Death & Co, Manhattan), Jim Meehan (PDT, Manhattan), Pamela Wiznitzer (Henry at the Life Hotel, Manhattan), among others. A hidden enclave accommodating up to 25 guests, the Vinyl Parlor will pay homage to Jonnie and Mark Houston’s love of music nostalgia and vinyl, with iconic album covers displayed in wooden wall cases. These special guest bartenders will work behind the room’s petite bar and contribute their own song-inspired cocktails to the seasonal menus, and they will riff to concoct a unique cocktail to cater to a guest’s personal palate or mood.
FlixBus Launches #FlixVR on Las Vegas Routes
FlixBus, Europe’s largest long-distance mobility company which recently expanded to the US, recently launched the world’s first virtual reality pilot program on long-distance buses – #FlixVR – with select routes to and from Las Vegas. The program will run for three months and will be available for no extra charge to passengers who reserve “panoramic seats.” With approximately 50 virtual reality games, cinematic and travel experiences – from virtual basketball to floating through outer space, walking across the Arctic with a family of penguins or even guided meditation – a variety of alternate, 3D realities can be enjoyed while FlixBus travellers pass the time en route to their destination.

Construction Underway for All New Smith & Wollensky Location
The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc., a collection of iconic American steakhouses headquartered in Boston, is set to debut its all-new Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas location at the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas. Pop-up museums that provide guests with immersive experiences and dynamic visual elements designed to be photographed—and shared on social media—have become immensely popular in the last two years. Pop Vegas is the first permanent venue created specifically to house an ongoing rotation of this new kind of exhibit experiences.
