MGM GRAND LAUNCHES GLOBAL ONLINE CASINO EXPERIENCE

MGM Grand has unveiled a groundbreaking online gaming platform, “Live from Vegas,” allowing players worldwide to experience the thrill of Las Vegas casino games from their own homes. The innovative concept, launched earlier this year by MGM Resorts, enables thousands of players to participate in games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and a betting version of “Family Feud” from nearly a dozen countries, including the UK, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada. The platform offers an immersive experience, with engaging game presenters and the ability for players to chat with them. Players can also see hotel guests walking around behind the dealers, providing a virtual taste of the Las Vegas atmosphere. To support the 24/7 operation, MGM has trained 90 dealers specifically for “Live from Vegas.” Security is a priority, with dealers using stage names to protect their identities. While regulatory issues currently prevent the platform from being offered in the U.S., MGM hopes these barriers will eventually be overcome.

NEON MUSEUM RELIGHT DUNES HOTEL & CASINO SIGN

The Neon Museum has revived the only remaining sign from the famous Dunes Hotel and Casino that is still on public display. The grand unveiling occurred on September 26, following a five-month restoration of the sign. According to museum officials, the Dunes entrance sign, acquired by The Neon Museum in 2002, is the last piece of the hotel’s iconic signage available for public viewing. The hotel first opened its doors in 1955 and quickly earned the nickname “Miracle in the Desert.” It was one of the original glamorous resorts that helped transform Las Vegas into a global entertainment hotspot. During Las Vegas’s Golden Age, the Dunes played a pivotal role in the city’s transformation into an international entertainment hub, offering dazzling shows, upscale dining, and luxurious amenities. In 1993, the Dunes became the first Las Vegas Strip resort to be demolished by explosives, attracting more than 200,000 spectators. The site was later redeveloped into the Bellagio Resort & Casino in 1998.

Bally’s Las Vegas will feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 3,000 rooms, a high-tech entertainment venue that can accommodate up to 2,500 people, and more than 500,000 square feet dedicated to retail, dining, and entertainment activities. The resort will also feature a casino, as well as a VIP experience with direct access to the ballpark. Company officials are currently working on obtaining the necessary approvals from Clark County and anticipate commencing construction in early 2026.

ZOOX ADDING SPHERE STOP
