HISTORY, Nitro Circus and Caesars Palace Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Evel Knievel’s Legendary Jump
HISTORY, Nitro Circus and Caesars Palace have partnered for, “Evel Live,” an unprecedented three-hour live event airing on Sunday, July 8 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on HISTORY. “Evel Live” will see motorsports superstar Travis Pastrana pay tribute to Evel Knievel, the founding father of motorcycle stunts, and aim to the push the limits even farther than the American icon. Caesars Palace, world-famous home of memorable moments in both sports and entertainment and the site of Evel Knievel’s legendary fountain jump 50 years ago, will host the grand finale jump, both for a national TV audience and a packed Las Vegas crowd.
Los Angeles’ Houston Hospitality to Open First Las Vegas Nightlife Venue at Park MGM
Los Angeles-based Houston Hospitality, founded by trendsetting fraternal twin brothers Jonnie and Mark Houston, will redefine the Las Vegas Strip’s nightlife landscape with the Dec. 31, 2018 opening of On The Record at Park MGM. The three-room venue will include both indoor and outdoor spaces, a world-class cocktail program and an escape into an immersive and entertaining hidden club experience driven by their award-winning interior design. After conceiving and operating numerous successful venues in Los Angeles over the past 10 years, including hotspots Break Room 86, Black Rabbit Rose, No Vacancy, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, and La Descarga, among others, On The Record (OTR) will be the Houstons’ first Las Vegas venture.
Florida Georgia Line Announces a Limited Engagement at Zappos Theater
Bringing Music City to Las Vegas for five-nights-only, world-class entertainers Florida Georgia Line will elevate their revolutionary status with a limited residency on the iconic Strip. “FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS” begins Saturday, December 1 inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Fans are invited to join Florida Georgia Line for anything-goes shows on December 1, 5, 7, 8, and 11. The multi-platinum hitmakers’ headline-worthy live performances will open each night with Big Loud Records and Atlantic Records artist Mason Ramsey.
Wynn Las Vegas Announces Exclusive Retailers Joining Wynn Plaza
Wynn Las Vegas announces an update to the collection of world-renowned luxury, contemporary, and lifestyle brands joining Wynn Plaza, the resort’s unique new 70,000-square-foot retail destination located directly on Las Vegas Boulevard. Brands that can only be found in Las Vegas at Wynn Plaza include Cipriani, Urth Caffé, SoulCycle, Céline, Balmain, Loewe, James Perse, Cotton Citizen, Marie France Van Damme, and Vitra Eyewear, with more to be announced in the coming months. Additional boutiques include Stella McCartney, Kiton, Omega, RIMOWA, Breitling, and Le Labo. Wynn Plaza is scheduled to open in October 2018.

Celine Dion Announces New Residency Show Dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Due to ongoing ticket demand, Celine Dion has announced 24 additional show dates for her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The performances are scheduled October 30 through November 17 and December 28 through January 20, including a performance on New Year’s Eve. Since March 2003, Celine has performed over 1,000 shows to over 4 million fans at The Colosseum. Her second Las Vegas residency, presented by AEG Presents and Caesars Entertainment, is directed by legendary Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich and features her biggest hits mixed with timeless classics including her newest song, “Ashes,” from the box office blockbuster “Deadpool 2.”

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Launches The Hangover Bar
Grab the wolf pack and head over to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, where The Hangover Bar is open for all to enjoy a full-service bar offering specialty drinks inspired by the hit movie “The Hangover.” Guests will be transported to the scene of Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug’s rooftop toast that kicked off “The Hangover” film’s uproarious series of events. Industrial design elements that invoke the roof of Caesars Palace, where the scene takes place, include ducting tables and pipes, an aircon feature, an LED backdrop of the world-famous Las Vegas skyline, and more. Japanese Artist Kisho Mwkaiyama Displays New Artwork at BellagioResort & Casino
Notable Japanese artist Kisho Mwkaiyama begins work on a new artwork, “Vendarta 100: Six Elements and The Seasons,” in a temporary public studio at Bellagio Resort & Casino. From June 29 through January 2019, Mwkaiyama will work on a commissioned artwork comprised of 24 square gouache paintings. The artist studio space is located next to Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and features a guest lounge for viewing and learning more about Mwkaiyama’s artistic practice.
Blue Moon Bar Coming Soon to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
Beer lovers have a new spot to get their fix of creative and unique beer offerings on the Strip with the introduction of the Blue Moon Bar which opened recently at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Neon Museum Announces Hot Yoga in the Boneyard
The Neon Museum announces its summer 2018 Hot Yoga in the Boneyard calendar. Taught by Certified Instructor Eileen Lorraine, the one-hour sessions will take place on nine Saturdays this summer from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. on the Neon Museum’s outdoor patio: June 23, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4, Aug. 11, Aug. 18 and Aug. 25. This holiday season, Wynn Las Vegas will unveil “The Holiday Show,” its first-ever seasonal production. Created and directed by Philip Wm. McKinley with choreography by Marguerite Derricks, who were both most recently involved in the re-imagination of Wynn Las Vegas’ award-winning production “Le Rêve – The Dream,” this musical production combines a score of holiday hits like “Santa Baby” and “This Christmas,” festive comedy and multi-genre dance numbers that will light up the stage at the intimate Encore Theater November 30 – December 30, 2018.
