HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Horseshoe Hotel and Casino originally opened as the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on December 4, 1973. The hotel underwent extensive renovations, reopening on July 29, 1981, with enhanced fire safety measures and an additional tower that increased its room count.

In 1986, Bally Manufacturing purchased the property, rebranding it as Bally’s Las Vegas. The resort continued to thrive, adding amenities and attractions over the years.
